How to Participate​

​

1. Join a Club
You must be a member of:

• FFA

• 4-H

• Grange

These groups help you learn how to raise and show animals.

2. Get an Animal
Choose one to raise:

• Goat

• Lamb

• Steer

• Swine

You must own your animal.
At the end, animals are sold at our live auction.

3. Register & Weigh In
Animals must be weighed before showtime:

• Steers: December

• All others: January

4. Raise & Train Your Animal
You’re responsible for care and training until the show in April.
Help is available through:

• Your club or chapter

• Species stewards (see Board Member page)

• Local feed & supply vendors
